Can the forumla be the same as
V = 1/2 x l X h X w
(Length of the base X height of the base X length of the prism)
I need this for an assignment in a few days.

So do we do the regular formula for a triangle (base x height divided by 2) and then you multiply the answer by the height of the prism, then half it?

We are learning it as V= B•h. but I think this is misleading. The way I can better understand it is to say 1st: solve for
Area of Triangle to get the base (B)
so...A=(1/2 •b•h) 2nd: V=(B)• h
