Awesome video brother! That stuff can make a tightly wrapped birch bark torch burn incredibly well.

I like to use pinecones and newspaper to start a fire. Pinecones have pine tar in them too. Also, you can use your reading glasses to focus the light of the sun to start a fire. 😊

you top of your survival game, where did you get all this great knowledge? or did it just come natural to you! I found that careful observation of nature can be an excellent teacher. I learned about 98, and about one different plant, one every 2 to 3 months at a time.

Excellent video once again thank you. What type of knife do you carry while outdoors?

1st time I heard you talk. Cool beans. I will look for that sap next time I get out. I have read the center of the trunk roots on a dead pine tree has a core to start fires.

There are certain brands of pine cones that are very sappy (LOL) its the same as throwing gas on a fire and start real easy also. Wish I knew what trees they come from.

Down south we call it fat lighter. Stuff is very flammable.
