awesome bro, thanks for the tip, can i ask what the download directory is thats the only 1 i can't get lol, i want to install java through the terminal lol. i am kind of new to linux i only ever really used it on vmware stuff until now lol.

I need help, please tell me, the below given question did you know how to solve it. If you're know please let me know the solution
Write shell script for the following task,
1. Change to /disk1/kafka directory
2. Check if there exists file 'my.pid' is present
3. Output 'pid file not found' if file is not present
4. If the file is present, get contents of this file which will be a PID
5. Check if any process if running with this PID
6. Output 'kafka is running with $PID' if found
7. Output 'kafka is not running with $PID' if not found

hey sir u are doing gr8 job having fun and learning stuff.
Could u just use real time examples while explaining rather than just typing commands in it (eg .while using loop )will help a lot to understand better..:)
