I was packing for my trip to Brussels, when I suddenly heard this song, and because I already loved Belgium for Tintin and Hergé (also the reason why I wanted to go there in the first place), and because I had waited to go there so much, I really cried a little. And when I read the english translation of the lyrics, I cried more. Something about the lyrics, especially at 2:24 touches me, even though I'm finn. I had this song on repeat when the airplane landed on Belgium (at 3.00 a.m.!!!) and during the holiday, it was pretty much the only song I listened to. Belgium has a speciel place in my heart, for being the home country of a cartoonist who means really, really much to me. Guess small part of my heart is belgian.

Ce que j'apprécie avec Angèle c'est qu'elle a toujours des thèmes différents à chaque chanson et qu'elle a une écriture à la fois très simple et directe, des mélodies entrainantes pour raconter des choses qui sont en fait plus profondes qu'elles en ont l'air au premier abord.

Love this song! When you're from the Netherlands, France or especially from Belgium it adds another layer to the song! I can't imagine Belgium disappearing.
