It's like the saying goes: "The most important ability is availability."
Right at this moment Embiid has played just 36 games, Jokic 54. That's 50% more from Jokic. If these are the only two MVP candidates, Jokic wins easily on those grounds.

You make a point at the start that Emiid has more points because of taking more FT, and that Jokic has better shooting %. Yet in the video you make it look like Jokic is inept at scoring and can only pass in the post or shoot an occasionall 3. Cmon man.

The only reason embiid has more free throws is cuz the refs dont call the fouls on jokic, plain and simple

Jokic has a huge lead in Box Plus/Minus of 11.6 vs 8.5 for Giannis and 8.3 for Embiid. The only time when the BPM leader didn't win the MVP race over the past 10 years was the first MVP of Giannis.
