Julio Le Parc, an artist of Argentine origin who has called France home since 1958, stands as a pioneering figure in the realms of kinetic art and Op Art (short for optical art, a style of visual art that uses optical illusions). His innovative approach to art defies conventional boundaries, spanning various formats and mediums, from acrylic paintings on canvas to striking sculptures in stainless steel, wood, and metal.

His latest exhibition 'Aurora' is currently on display at the Galleria Continua / Les Moulins, France until the 24th of December 2023. This museum-scale exhibition boasts nearly seventy artworks spanning from the 1960s to the present. Visitors will be able to explore his iconic acrylic paintings, captivating stainless steel, wood, and metal sculptures, delve into the brilliance of the Lumières series, both historic and contemporary, and stand in awe of a monumental installation reaching over five meters in height.
