My favorite episode of the entire show. Just so you know, the actress who played the nanny is a two time Tony award winner, Adriane Lenox. The amount of talent that that show brings is just incredible!

I just used the tangerine bit while negotiating with my parents and it worked. It threw them off so much that I ended up getting what I wanted. Praise 30 Rock.

I love how Jack learns that talking only gets you so far and learns to let people hang out to dry here. Such a good inversion of his character. Fantastic minimalist performance by Adriane Lenox as well.

I love how Jack refers to the grocer as the 'grocery concierge', and estimates the potato bag to be $400. It's the little things :)

Funny how Jack thinks a 10 pound of potatoes costs 400 dollars.
A grocery concierge haha

I absolutely love this clip. It's a great demonstration of using silence as a tactic in negotiating. Think about it the next time you're talking to your boss about a raise or review, when you're buying a car, or especially when you're dealing with an insurance company. Their adjusters use this every time. Oh, and be sure to bring an orange. that's a nice touch. 'So... what you wanna do?'

"...some helpless, pathetic, useless thing that would die if left alo--
oh, God, I do have that...I have NBC."

An NBC show mocking NBC and its shows. Reason #5972 why I love 30 Rock.

that shark meat joke is something only Trinidadians would understand. I'm impressed by the writer's research just for that one line.

I never realized how impeccable the writing was for this show- this is how Harvard business graduates actually act. A very scary and detached bunch.

It’s fun to imagine what kind of person Liddy grows up to be with a dad like Jack, a mom like Avery, a shrewd negotiator for a nanny and Liz as an honorary aunt 😂

I need to start Carrying a Orange in my Jacket Pocket.

The original from Arrested Development: Lucille, "I mean, how expensive can a banana be, $10?" Michael, "You've never actually bought a banana, have you..."

My favorite clip of 30 Rock!! Not only Alec was great, the actress who played that Trinidadian nanny was FANTASTIC!! She doesn't even have a lot lines but her body language, the way she moved her eyes, her voice was ABSOLUTELY captivating!!! Makes you want to move Jack over just to watch her!!

I need Sherry's negotiating skills and non-plussed demeanor

That little smile after he says "reamed by a woman in Winnie the Pooh hospital pants." 3:54 x3

I love Sherri. She can say so much just with a raise of her eyebrow.

Here, in California, we get these small tangerines called "cuties." Who knew they could be used in such a brazen display of dominance.

Sherry was one of my favourite characters in the whole show yet hardly spoke two words. Brilliant acting.
