Mel Brooks is not "well into his 80s", he is in fact 96. Mr. Brooks was born in Brooklyn, New York on June 28, 1926. God Bless him and all the entertainers that have brought us joy for so many years. Whether they made me laugh or cry, I wouldn't have missed it for the world. Thank You

I'd like to add Lee Grant. She was blacklisted from Hollwood for almost 12 years, but came back with a vengeance. Best known for Valley of The Dolls, Damien Omen II, Airport '77. Her age isn't fully disclosed, but is in the 95-97 range. She has been in countless films, T.V shows, won countless awards as well.

I would add a couple of famous guys born in the early '30s: Clint Eastwood, Gene Hackman, Robert Duvall, Michael Caine, Robert Redford, and, of course Captain James T. Kirk aka William Shatner. :)
