I think for phones priced above 40k companies should provide atleast 3 year warranty for motherboard and display. The main reason for buying flagship phones is to use them for atleast 4-5 years .

This is just a theory, but the reason for line issue is the thin Bazel at the bottom of the screen, normally there is cable comming out at the bottom of the screen that atteches the screen to the motherboard. The reason why cheap phones that thick bezel at the bottom is because of this cable. But in expensive phone where the bottom bezel is thin it causes a lot of stress on the cable as a reason it sometimes breaks, this causes line issue.

I'm currently using OnePlus 11 and thankfully didn't face any issues until now but I agree OnePlus should definitely give free motherboard replacement to all the affected users if there's no existing damage.

2. Acha laga ki sirf poco k history of MB dead ka eg nahi diya, saath saath me Samsung Exynos 9611 ka b eg diya ( I know you were one of the few who had made video ok E9611 MB issues)

4. Warranty rules me b change laana chahiye, har baar physical damage ka reason de k ye log loop hole nikal lete.
Halka sa scratch ya minor dent rega toh b ye reason se warranty nahi dete. Use karenge toh normal wear tear hoga hi, sirf isi ko highlight krke warranty deny nahi karna chahiye

You are doing a grt job Rakesh .
I was planning to purchase 12 for myself very soon however post seeing my Dad OP 11 R green line issue post update . I am thinking not to purchase OP 12 and rather shift my legions towards Apple /Samsung flagships .
I was a very loyal OP user and had one plus 6 and One plus 7 pro phones .
I don't know why OP is unable to justify their premium existence like what they used to do until their 8 series .
I am planning to go to their service center this weekend and if they don't agree to resolve the green line issue free of cost in my Dad's 11 R I am never ever gonna purchase OP device and would ask all my colleagues /friends /relatives to never ever go for OP.
Lucky me that I didn't purchase OP 12 r for my Mom who is very happy with her current Samsung S21FE which is a beautiful device .
I can feel why Carl Pei left OP now .

OnePlus nowadays is a high risk, high reward phone. If anything doesn't go wrong, its an amazing phone with price ratio. My family had OP2 that worked for 7 years, I bought the OP7 in 2019 and still using it. One sister bought OP7T it had motherboard issue after 2 years so now she's using Samsung S23. My father is also using OP7T. Another sister is using OP Nord. But now we're shifting from OnePlus because:
1. Their phones are high risk, high reward but we don't want any risk.
2. My sister's OP7T display was replaced for 12K for the first time, when the motherboard died, I simply checked the repair prices, for the display now it was like 18K, they increased their spare part prices for every model.

Our family members are starting to shift from OnePlus to other brands now. We were loyal to OP, but they're high risk, high reward. Even if they give free replacements its time consuming. My OnePlus Buds Pro 2 was replaced for free but it was time consuming. Why should I waste my time and money for the brands mistake? We make the brand, they don't make us. We're done with OnePlus products.

I am a user of the OnePlus 8 Pro purchased in March 2020 and the OnePlus 12 purchased in June 2024. For God's grace, I have never had a green line or motherboard issue with the 8 Pro, and the same with the Oneplus 12, which I have been using for three months. I have received one major update, and the phone is working properly.

My OnePlus 9rt is dead now.

Bhai just 30 min pehle download kiya tha 1.4.0.0.710 something version tha usko download kiya tha without this knowledge of this existing issue and OnePlus support says they need 28k to fix this 3 year old phone...

Mera OnePlus 12 hai .. 6months bhi nhi hue toh mobile totally Black screen hua h . .. aur service center deke 1month hua h abhi tak repair nhi hua
