Can you offer some advice on how to propagate by division or cuttings? Can you cut off individual “bunches” from the main plant and pot them up?

How do you prune them? Not harvest the flowers, but clean up the foliage?

Can I get some advice planting these? Every time I get the germination going then eventually die. I just kinda want to throw them in the actual ground in the ground in my backyard and not have to start them in a small tray. How much do you water them from germination until they get 1 cm leafs? I water them only when they are dry then wait until soil needs to be watered again kind of like my rosemary

I live in Australia. I got this plant today in my native section. Am I going mad? Nearly every plant I buy from my ' native ' section are native to South Africa.
