Iirc, a visitor to her home back at the height of the Harry Potter mania was so surprised and impressed with how excessive her security arrangements were that he joked that you'd need a crack SAS squad just to ring the door bell against her wishes. This woman is in literally no danger from a couple protestors outside her home.

I've read her essay justifying herself. It's really dishonest and unfair to her critics, but you get the sense she's totally unaware of that. People deceive themselves first, before they deceive others.
