FUN FACT

If you hold R2 when using a backstep R1 right before an enemy attack connects, You'll perform a Guard. If you hold L2, you'll hold the stance up until you're Guard Broken or let go of L2

This is my favorite weapon so far! It has reach, a versatile move-set and power :) ! The only downside are the rather slow swings when transformed but this really doesn't bother me too much (yet).

Zombie Headz You missed two attacks, but i don't blame you because they are well hidden. If you do a non running Transform (L1) and then immediately tap R1 there is a different attack for each transformation. The large sword is swung with one hand and then put into its normal stance, and the straight sword is swung with two hands downwards and then back into its normal stance.

With some more stamina, the transformed L2 combo has 4 moves. One thing I also figured out just now is if you transform and R1 right after, it does a unique move. Only does that for this wep and kirkhammer. You can also press R2 again after the transformed fully charged R2 for another move.

What I like doing for large groups is, transform to greatsword, R1, R1, R1, L1. That does 4 horizontal swings in a row.

It's ridiculous that I'd be frowned upon by using this weapon when the game only has 15 trick weapons. The weapon has great damage and a great moveset albeit somewhat slow. Why wouldn't I use it when I like greatswords?

ugh the transformed moveset looks so badass why didn't they put it in dark souls 3???? The greatsword class in dks3 only ever has that stupid downward smash attack r1 from dark souls 1, this has 2 awesome slashes and then a smash like cmon this is awesome

It annoys me that the shortsword r2 consumes more stamina than the transformed r2... The exact amount of more stamina it consumes is 10% . According to the wiki the untransformed r2 is 55 stamina and the transformed r2 is 50.

Imagine how cool the transformation attack would be if you grabbed the sheath and stabbed it into someone before you shoved the sword in it.

Wakanoid, Strength and Skill affect both forms, and with equal bonuses. Try to level them up in parallel.
