We don’t hate those, what we hate are the square lights cause you have to measure them all out to get them perfect and it’s even worse when the walls are messed up which most of the time they will be

Can/recessed lights will have a huge impact on your energy bill. Almost none are correctly sealed. The proper seal and insulation kit is expensive multiply that by the 40 spot lights you'd need that only 10 of these units can do the same job.

Pro tip, run the hole saw in reverse so the teeth won't catch on the paper. It is very smooth and cuts the hole just fine.

Someone just figured out that they have a hole saw, I just use a rotto zip it’s faster and cheaper, I use it for drop ceiling tiles for exit signs cans, pendants, and receptacles, and drywall.
