Daffodils in Watercolor: Tutorial for Beginners, Full Narration

Begin your watercolour journey with these loveliest of spring flowers! Follow along with my simple steps to paint these yellow lovelies. Suitable for any age or ability.

Colours I used: cadmium yellow, lemon yellow, Payne’s grey, sap green, viridian hue, and yellow ochre.

My brush is a simple small-sized flat brush, size 0, and my paper is ‘The Langton’ watercolour paper, A4 by Daler-Rowney, 140lb weight.

I used a pre-drawn pencil outline here, as with my other videos. I’m working on a way to make all my outlines available for download, so please watch this space, and happy painting!

Once again beauty has been brought to life through your skilled hands with a brush. You make it look so easy, it fills me with confidence. And then quickly back down to plane "Reality" with a thud, when I attempt to replicate your talent. Oh well, always gives me a chuckle when I try something far and beyond my ability. Another excellent tutorial, thank you! I like ultramarine blue and cadmium yellow for a lot of my greens at the moment, maybe with a dab of burnt sienna

Mostly I give Burnt Sienna to green. I am only satisfight with Schmincke Olive green yellowish and green earth
