I used to play an old Roblox game called Aegis; a game that was in its beta. It was like a real-time-strategy game, except that you and the other players on your team were the units. It had a slow, but enjoyable gameplay loop where your team and its Monarch (the leader) would defend a ship while trying to destroy the other two teams ships, while expanding your base. I recently went to see what had become of the game, and I was both relieved and saddened. The game had not changed, but it’s player base had gone from the thousands to zero. 1 other player joined me when I went on the game, so I know there are others like me waiting for the game to somehow revive itself. I think the game died while I was away due to the new surge of a younger audience that doesn’t enjoy this sort of slower gameplay that much, but I guess the reason I’m leaving this long wall of text here, is in hope that I can revive that game, and hopefully one day be able to play it again at its full capacity.

I kept seeing people get irritated with that sh. So I installed exploits that basically activates Xray, Showing all players to deal with their bs. If you beat them they just scream slurs at you.

Roblox is becoming really boring, as a player who joined in 2015, i am starting to feel like this platform is dying. Roblox who used to help kids and young adults build their dream world/universe is now becoming a compagny who is here just to make money. No more events, Egg Hunts, good updates. The front page is just filled with simulators and anime games. Thanks to all the devs who worked so hard on events like "Egg Hunt: The Great Yolktales". I wish I knew egg hunts existed before 2019

0:53 happened to me. exploiter was using a command that killed anyone on sword fight on the heights. (i played it for memories) then, i saw the dude. killed him. three other people saw me. and i was treated like a god. especially since the exploiter then left.

I joined in 2011 and although many people say that old heads like me are just nostalgia blind I still feel like overall things were better back then from 2008 to 2015. I sometimes go back and play old Roblox simulation games where they restore games from that time period that not may work anymore, and I still have as much fun. Don't get me wrong, there was still 300 different Area 51 clones and tycoons but in general, I felt like the games were sometimes much more original and strived to work with the simple assets they had. Felt like developers cared much more as well, every event back then really felt like an event and not just the same generic promo events which only serve to advertise a crappy capitalist product. Not to mention the moderation issues that are so much more prevalent. I still play Roblox to this day and do find some good games but I feel like most of the games on the front page are just soulless, it's nearly impossible to find a game that I can enjoy. Even if you do find a good game, once its community dies it's over. (which happens a lot, the quality of a game doesn't necessarily mean there will be a lasting community) Anyways sorry for ranting it's just how I feel.
