hi sir, what if in my function there are multiple variables? for example i have w, x, y, z and i want to differentiate it with respect to x, do i write diff( f(w, x, y, z), x)?

halow sir, while using syms x there is an error message showing undefined function, how can i solve

After typing “sym x” and press tab to go down, it doesn’t bring up a second set of arrows right below “sym x”. Instead it instantly solve the problem for x and I don’t know why.

Matlab is great, but I’ve seen people in my class rely on it a bit too much. They don’t take time to learn all of the algae properties and just rely on matlab. So don’t try to fall in that trap, it’s lazy and it shows that you don’t fully understand what’s going on.
