Lockdown 2.0 is not all bad news: it means that we get to keep on producing and performing some of our favourite tracks. This month’s offering, however, was the choice of competition winner @Jonathan Mitchell - and what great taste he has!

It’s Razzamatazz by Quincy Jones.

Quincy Jones is arguably the most famous producer of all time with masterpiece after masterpiece spanning five decades. This particular track featured none other than music heavyweights - Herbie Hancock, Greg Phillinganes, Jerry Hey, James Ingram, Louis Johnson, and Stevie Wonder - all powerhouse players with successful careers in their own right.

The original featured the incredible lead vocal of Patti Austin who went on to win a Grammy for this track. The album “The Dude” reached no*11 in the UK Album Charts.

Once again, we’ve had fun emulating some of the greats, whilst putting a bit of our own sound in there too!

I always loved this tune fro THE DUDE(1981) and you never miss it guys.
Greatest cover band on earth for the songs choice (FLY INTO THIS NIGHT..Wow) and the versions.
