Queensland's Crime and Corruption Committee is warning of gaps in the state government's proposed integrity reforms.

Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk said the laws act on key recommendations of the Coaldrake Report into the government's integrity which was delivered in 2022.

The proposed changes include new regulations for lobbyists but have been criticised as applying too narrow a scope for who can qualify as a lobbyist.

When will all these traitors be roundup and held to account.
Someone really needs to be arrested and sent to jail before they do any more irreversible damage to the Commonwealth of Australia.

Gaps, you mean canyons. As someone that has had their career destroyed on multiple occasions for raising issues of corruption, inappropriate images, pirated movies and music on government servers I can tell you there is major problems with integrity in the government. I took issues to palaszczke and on the porn the response was "we will not investigate this matter" or words to that effect.
Take a look at the treatment of police that refused the vaccination and the way Qld Police has treated them.

Our government is a disgrace

Crime is an industry worth tens of Billions of dollars to the corporate world and is now so financially entrenched in modern society that it affects a country's economy. Crime across all levels also supports Millions of Jobs, from Magistrates to supreme court justices, to legal corporations, the State and Federal police, the prison system, Insurance Companies, the Security Industry and a lot of other businesses. Corruption is rife as is crime I would like to see the paperwork on what taxpayers generate and what crime generates each financial year. Crime still operates mostly on a cash-only or barter basis there would be Billions in Australia alone sitting in warehouses shipping containers or the back of bedroom closets, that still find its way back into circulation, so I can't see a cashless society in the near future. If a politician gets caught or someone that could prove to be embarrassing gets caught in truth what happens to them, the ex NSW premier got caught and she ended up quitting and got a high-paying management job with Optus or Voda-phone she must be beside herself with worry about how she will cope with life after politics. My point is why are we bothering to spend more money on inquiries that at best will not come to anything.
