I remember very vividly one of the early Duelist Cups when Swordsoul was new, I was playing pure Live Twin before the Link 4 and Sprights and the opponent was on Swordsoul and I was 1 win away from DL lv. MAX...turn 8, we both had had no cards in hand and the only card on either board was one of the Evil Twins on my side...they draw for turn, Desires, Draw 2 with 10 cards left in deck afterwards, normal summon Mo-Ye, reveal Protos and I literally wanted to cry so bad

No exaggeration, i once activated desires, banished all my swordsoul names and then drew the remaining 2 desires.

Refused to play the card ever since

My two main decks are Snake-Eye and Kashtira, given the fact that most of the combo starters in both decks are at one or two I'm never letting Desires within a kilometer of either of my decks.

Played it in the last event to sub for prosp. First time I banished all trudea, second time I banished all stand up. Cut it from my deck after that

I remember trying to learn salamangreat doing some test hands. I drew double desires off it and banished the at the time 1 off gazelle. Genuinely want all the relevant pots at 1 because we don’t need more generic consistency and because I want to feel like there’s no bad draws off desires

Back in TOSS format I managed to banish all three copies of Raye + Hornet Drones off of one Desires.

I loved banishing all my Longyuans back when i was playing Swordsoul

I don't like pot of desires because of that. It's too risky especially in a 40 card deck. Banishing 10 cards just to draw two and risking loosing essential key cards isn't worth it just for the sake of drawing 2.

Even Swordsoul is not this bad playing Desire 😂

One time when playing Tri-Zoo I banished like every single Tri-Brigade, I think I had 1 Kit left in deck. And then when playing Pure Zoo I banished 7 Zoodiacs. I don't play Desires much anymore, that was traumatizing.
