In earlier versions of alpha i dont remember which specific version, you could duplicate any item by simply hovering it out of your inventory and closing it which would cause the item to drop on the ground but also stay in your inventory

there's an even earlier one in infdev, where if you put items in a chest, save, then go back into the game, take the items, then crash the game, the items will be in your inventory and in the chest
