Fun Fact if you have The Aetherial Crown you can get both one of The Guardian Stones blessing and The Lover Stone blessing EX) you have The Mage Stone which boosts experiences in magic related skills by 20% and have The Aetherial crown and have The Lover Stone which gives you 15% experience boost to all skills you get a total of 35% bonus experience for the skills involving magic, That can help people who want to level up quickly but the catch is you got to have the Dawnguard DLC and have completed the Lost To The Ages quest.

The steed stone is best I reckon Because early in the game your heavy armor is a lot and you cannot carry a lot either.
And the shrine of dibella near just SSW of hroldran Boosts speech permanently by 10 which is always handy for barter etc.

It's especially great with the Dawnguard DLC because you can get the Aetherial Crown, which gives you the benefit of the previous standing stone effect you had before equipping it, as well as the one you had while equipping it, so long as they aren't the same ones.

Caedo my friend you are a very talented youtuber and you put a lot of effort into your videos which makes me respect you a lot since you aren't the biggest YouTube channel out there. I am very glad I found your channel and can I just say, keep it up :)

honestly just use steed stone until u can get perks to eliminate the weight of armor, upgrade stamina and use companions like Lydia to help lessen the burden of the loot, then id recommend lover stone because it helps with everything. And by the time u get the perks to eliminate armor weight, it would take a while to level your primary skills so just try to use multiple other skills u don't usually use, I highly recommend illusion, simply by the muffle spell, trust me, MUFFLE gives an insane amount of xp to illusion, just use while u are travelling as an easy way to earn xp because u don't need any enemy or friendly to gain xp from using it like u might with restoration or destruction

Best for me in order of levels and how you can get to them are
1. Warrior stone because combat skills are not easy to level up especially later.
2 Steed stone because of the heavy armor and ability to carry weight. Get this as soon as you can.
This is the best stone IMO.
3 Lover stone which is good at advanced levels when you have enough stamina to carry a lot and have armor perk of armor weighs nothing. An enchanted pair of carry weight boots are good to have in your inventory.

So.... I just did the Lost to the Ages quest. ....And I feel... sad. I was hoping I could keep Katria as a Companion/Follower. I decided to make the crown, as it seemed that would be the most beneficial. I wish I could've made stuff besides a crown, a shield and a staff. Like maybe a Greatsword or something. ...I feel sad that I had to say goodbye to Katria. ...Maybe i'll see her in Sovngarde? I hope so. Anyway... thought i'd just talk about it even if no one sees this,  and that's why i'm looking up the Standing Stones thing. ...

Requiescat De Pace Katria.

I prefer the lover stone. My playstyle is a summoner, using conjured weapons (especially bow and sword). And additionally, the boos in speechcraft, enchanting, smithing and armour is a neat bonus ;)

The Atronach Stone will always be my favorite stone. I used it on my first build of my argonian sorcerer no weapons character and never regretted it!

Ever since Skyrim first came out and over all these years I've never even known about the stones and it pisses me off because I'm halfway through my playthrough now and I just discovered this.

Why did you put archery into thief skills? In Skyrim they are considered warrior's.
