Oneplus 7 Pro was so cool. Truly my favorite smartphone. Unfortunately, after about 2 years of 7 Pro love, I bought a Galaxy Z Fold3 because the larger display is very practical for work. However, after two years, the battery of the Fold is now starting to run low with less than 70% capacity. Now I'm going back to Oneplus and wish they had stuck with the retractable camera, it looks so much better than that black hole on the Oneplus 12.

I usually upgrade my phone every year, but I've been using the oneplus 7 pro for the past 4 years. There's no true upgrade to it and it has incredible custom rom support.

I'm still using this phone, I used this phone A LOT for my work and personal needs, and in all weather conditions, heat cold and rain, quite literally. I never felt I was missing it being wireless as well.
And this phone is still blazingly fast. For photography I have my mirorless cameras and lenses. I only use camera features from this phone for picturing paperwork and screenshots.
Absolutely amazing phone. I'm thinking I can continue with it for another 3 years at least, and let's see then where I'm at. But for now, it's just amazing.

I am sure there is a way to convert the phone to a linux based OS. Be nice (even for a subscription base) to get some newer features for this phone. I know they want people to upgrade but I think it would be good for several reasons including environmental factors.
