You'd be surprised how something we perceive as a simple accident can result in various serious impairments for many people. Call it bad luck, or just the right angle, or hitting the right nerve. I knew a guy who got into a confrontation at a party, and the dude he was arguing with punched him square in the chest, and caused his heart to stop. Complete cardiac arrest, and he died that night. The dude that punched him wasn't trying to kill him, but that's what happened. Its sad when it happens, but never doubt that any accident is just something that "shouldn't" end in something worse.

I am religious, and waited til marriage. My husband was not religious when we started dating. I can speak from experience that the first mistake was that they did not discuss bedroom expectations sooner. From this intro (I realize that a lot of this has to do with how the show frames it, so take with a grain of salt), they both seem like nice people. However, she gives me insecure vibes, and definitely feels like she throws herself at people. And he is probably a bit insecure too, because he's not being up front either. Lack of communication is a red flag. I will also say, I love horses. I am horse crazy, and admit I'm biased. But I accept the fact that people eat horses. She can respectfully refuse to participate eating chickens, or even slaughtering them without offending her hosts. We all don't feel the same way about things, and you can't force people to see things the same way you do. You are more likely to change people's views with kindness, compassion, empathy, and education. But you can't force it. A better scenario is if she respectfully declines, and then they might be curious why, and she has the opportunity to share her views. Then they can choose to change their perspective if they want to.
