Color Changing Fire Packets

You toss a full package into the fire and in about 15 seconds you’ll start to see color magic happen.

I've been doing this for 20 years, but not with a pack of powder. When copper burns, it changes the color too. Get some 16 gage electrical wire, and cut them into 4" strips. Throw a couple into the fire, and you get the same results. When the colors die down, throw in a couple more. I've been telling my kids they're called magic sticks. Enjoy

You get the same results if you get a short copper pipe, stuff it full of pieces of vinyl shower curtain, and beat both ends almost closed with a hammer or rock whatever. It's what we did in the 80s as kids on the beach.
