These Work for Me
I'm not looking to become a body builder, I just want to regain and maintain strength. I'm recovering from a broken knee and currently in PT. I decided to buy my own 2 lb weights for strength training at home going forward as I've learned that strengthening the quads are important for overall support and stability of the knees. I use them to do leg lifts from a sitting position in a chair and straight leg lifts from a reclining position. I feel this has helped me substantially and only wish I had been doing these exercises earlier in life for better lower body strength. I won't use them for walking and certainly not running so can't say how they'd stand up to that but for as I've described above, I do recommend.
