What Happens to People Who Never Hear the Gospel?

If it is impossible to be saved without the gospel of Jesus Christ, then what happens to people who never hear the gospel? Does God send them to hell having never had a chance to be saved? If not, then there is a way to heaven without the gospel. If so, Christ seems to be dishonest when He says "I will draw all men unto myself." So how do we answer these questions? Here's my explanation. Let me know what YOU think!

@127 thats the issue, people hate doctrine because it divides which is another way of saying they hate christ because he came to divide through his teachings (doctrines). matthew10:34.

In the end, God's judgement will be Just and Righteous. I'm glad I ain't the judge.

@318 its just the same as he said all are under the power of the evil one. only the non-elect are under the evil ones sway. the all men here are the elect sheep because if taken literally then no women get saved, right? spiritually dead people can do as much to their salvation as lazarus could do to raise himself from the dead or prevent jesus from doing it. when the holy spirit convicts, regenerated and gives saving faith in christ then were willing to receive christ.

You dont need the gospel to be saved - providing you are without sin. Salvation is not a right, we ALL DESERVE HELL. The gospel is a wonderful redeeming gift and our concern for those who dont hear the gospel should drive us to make that happen because as our Lord said - NOBODY comes to the Father but by me. However, many BC didnt know the name of Jesus but they did place their faith in God to redeem them, they knew they were sinners, resolved to live for righteousness and trusted him to be merciful - and so he was, through Christ to come. Thats amazing but I still think they needed to know the God of Abraham on HIS terms and not theirs - trusting Zeus to be merciful would have done them no good. What happens to people who dont hear the gospel? They get what they deserve - thanks be to God and Him alone that we who accept His precious loving gift DONT get what we deserve. We all deserve hell - the gospel is the only hope and Hell will be far far worse for those who heard the gospel and rejected it.

its really quite easy if you believe in jesus the greastest prayerer in the bible. just go to john17 and ask the holy spirit to teach you what he the spirit of truth wrote.

It is not impossible for those who dont hear the "gospel" to go to heaven. Just getting to heaven is not the goal of the "gospel" and nothing is impossible with God. God calls those whom he wills and they are saved (spirit reborn/justified/called) and they wont ever be rejected from attending the judgement seat of Christ, which is in heaven. The issue is the outcome of the JSOC whether or not we are found worthy to enter the kingdom of God and reign and rule with Christ for the Millennium or be cast into outer darkness/2nd death for the same period. Rebirth doesnt require us, the true gospel does require us but many people (including Americans reject/or havent heard the true gospel) will never hear it and not loose their place in heaven (eventually) but loose their inheritance through salvation/spirit and truth. The Bible was written to believers/for believers/about believers to show them the kingdom and how to enter it per Jn 3.3 and 3.5.
