Grieg - Waltz, Op. 12 No. 2 (from 'Lyric Pieces')

This is the second out of 66 short pieces for piano from “Lyric Pieces” collection composed by Grieg. This lovely waltz can be a good relaxing music to listen to over a cup of hot tea during a cold winter morning and imagining as if you are in snowy Norway.

Interesting coda, at the end it goes from the chord from A major to A minor, separated by a rest.

Every time I play it, I feel like those chords should be played legato or at least with pedal (as I play it) and not staccato (as it’s actually supposed to be played).
