Do you think Cadillac is catching up to the Germans?

Your tests are so comprehensive and interesting! Your videos are criminally underated, like this car

The brakes, chassis and tuning potential make this car a good pickup. I would go for the CT5V because it has similar characteristics but the sound for the car stock is great. I would love to see a review of the CT5V

This car competes with the S3 m235i cla35amg.The ct5v competes with the m340i g70/stinger c43 s5/s4 etc. They are both a bit bigger then all of the cars in there segments but that’s how Cadillac did it.

I have a 2005 CTSV and also added a 2023 CT4V-surprizingly both are equal in power and fun factor. The CT4V AWD gives up 1/2 second from 0 to 60 to the CT4V Blackwing- but that is a small penalty to pay for the security of AWD in hilly Pgh. during the winter months. With 50 to 50 weight distribution- this thing handles like it is on rails and just
ike my 2005 CTSV this vehicle is a keeper!

Like the POV View of the drive Dan. When they first introduced the CT4 V, I thought for a second they downgraded all together. But they released the BW of the CT4 with the ATS-V engine, this fits well competing against the C43 and S3. I would personally stick the CT4 V BW because I like a little more power.

Great video! Love the new format and appreciate you featuring a left field car. Would love if you could get an Alfa in to test!

The powerful turbocharged engine is certainly a good selling point. It will enhance driving dynamics. Another selling point is that it is more affordable than some of its German rivals.

Ct4 black wing is the one you should have tested against other cars! Much faster!

I recently picked up my ordered 2024 CT4-V in Radiant Red Tintcoat with the Sangria interior. I love this car. Just wish they would have offered a manual transmission. (I can't afford to move up to the Blackwing to get the manual.).

The CT4 Blackwing is a night and day ... let me know if you would like to review one

Like the front. Dislike the rear. Nice profile for a sedan. Honestly prefer the ATS styling over the CT4.

The rain had nothing to do with it. Totally normal "track" conditions.

I think what your looking for in a "v" car can be found in the ct4 blackwing. But that a whole other level up maybe two in regards to pricing. I'd say your take on the car is pretty much on point. Cadillac kicked themselves by putting the V badge on it.

It s too bad the ct4 and ct5 v series might be the last of its kind from what cadillac has in mind for the USA... it's all gonna be up to the aftermarket to "fix" the down sides of this car. But it doesn't look like there's too many places tuning the ct4 either.... cars been out for 4 years and the blackwing has finally got a good aftermarket tune... being im new ro ct4 maybe I'm just not looking in the right places? But aftermarket support seems a bit lacking... I'm thinking the people who buy these cars aren't the type that typically customizes and modifies the crap outta their cars thus fewer tuners interested in this platform.

I'm with you, disappointing. I expected better from Cadillac...I'm just going to wait patiently for you to review the C8 Z06, that will be EPIC!
