Milton jumped out to a 21-0 halftime lead and then held on to beat Lowndes 28-17 to advance to its first ever state championship game. Georgia Tech commit Jordan Yates rushed for a 6-yard score and passed for 181 yards and two touchdowns, the second an 11-yarder to Holden Shaw in the fourth quarter to end the Vikings comeback. Kentucky commit Travis Tisdale had 179 yards rushing for Lowndes.
