People always say "wow that looks like a lot of work" trust me, it isn't when you love it! I started watching tutorials on makeup when I was about 11 and I honestly fell in love with everything about makeup. I can't tell you why I love it, I don't put it on to impress anyone, I do it because it's fun and a way to express myself. I started wearing makeup at 12 and I'm now 16. Makeup is an art and it's okay to love it, and do it.

The other day I went into the bathroom at school, to touch up my Mascara. Someone I know walked out of the stall, noticed I was putting on makeup, and said "who ya trying to impress?" I looked at her smirked, then said "myself". And then proceeded to walk away.

Honestly though I totally agree, I love myself and the way I look, but makeup is fun!!!

It makes me happy that someone who is a makeup guru said "there are no rules to makeup". I've done a couple makeup videos about my own personal styles, and some people tend to get upset that I'm doing things "wrong" and proceed to lecture me on how to "properly" do it. I always hear friends who don't care about makeup say things like, "This is my face, deal with it, I don't understand girls who wear a lot of makeup everyday." Well I do, and I love it. I go to cover my dark circles up in the morning and I just can't stop myself because I enjoy it so much. I feel more natural with makeup on because that's what I like doing, and going bare is against who I am.

I started wearing at a pretty young age. I wore concealer, powder, and mascara. I didn't wear the powder much because it was too dark for my skin tone. It was my moms. I was with 2 of my friends and we had a sleepover. When we woke up we sat in the hallway and I heard her mom saying I wore makeup because I was insecure. But honestly, I love the way I look and when I look in the mirror I smile because I point out the beautiful things on my body and not the negitive. Some adults don't realize that I'm not doing my makeup because I'm Insecure... it's because I want to highlight those features that I love and make them pop. Everyone is beautiful in their own special way. 💕
