The thing is that they continue to sell land out there. Know that people are at risk of loosing everything including their lives.

why would anyone build power lines anywhere near or on top of the volcano? its not going to withstand the heat.

People move to Florida, get their homes wiped out by a hurricane that comes by almost annually, and no one bats an eye at their logic.

Someone founds an entire nation in the middle of the ocean thousands of miles from the mainland, near the summit of the worlds largest and most active volcano, and STILL no one bats an eye at their logic.

But this one housing development gets built cheaply and it's people are informed when buying that they must own volcano insurance, and that it's at risk of being wiped out by lava flows, and when it actually happens at that location for the first time in DECADES everyone loses their mind!
