It would seriously be fascinating to dig through the Thames! All the history that river has seen is literally mind blowing! Quick note, the curator, Kate, is absolutely GORGEOUS and should be absolutely and completely proud of this exhibition! ❤

Mudlarks originally scoured for anything that could be sold. Coins, buttons (which were metal), clothing, watches, etc.

Mudlarker, Si of Sifinds, has found a Roman sandal in the Thames. He and his mudlarking friends put out some great interesting and very enjoyable videos.
They usually drop on Sunday and they are such a relaxing “ visit “ with friends. The finds are cool too.

I know Si has mentioned that the mudlarking exhibit was coming but I can’t remember if anything he found will be in the show. I know he has donated things he has found to different museums in the past.
