We just rescued a 11 month old Cane Corso and I never thought about how much I'll spend a year on kibble

I'm looking into getting a Cane or a Presa and this is super helpful. Thanks for the insight. And your dogs are beautiful!

I feed raw. In Norway costs around 300 dollars for both per month which is on par with premium kibble if you can call kibble premium

Jason, have you ever reviewed Stella and Chewy? They have a really good dry/freeze dried raw line of food. Currently I have my 6.5 month old CC on 1/2 fresh cooked 1/2 Taste of the Wild puppy kibble. He is doing very well with it and as soon as I can afford a full raw diet I will. This video is great man! Thank you

I LOVE the pop up comments above the dog. You should try to start doing that in your videos.

We have six dogs and when we rescued our Cane Corso he eats the amount we feed all our other dogs combined! WE feed raw and have for over 20 years.

You either spend $ up front feeding them well or pay high vet bills later.

Should check out the brand "team dog" .. owned. Created etc by Mike Ritland who is a really good/successful protection dog trainer etc. Created his own dog food for his dogs that do sport work, personal protection work, go to police departments and also military units. His dog food and treats are really good and a lot of top trainers, police and military units use it for their working dogs

Jason, we use farm dog raw. Do you have any information about it? We use the complete mixes and add extra pieces of meet as needed. Our corso's poop is good but we also use suplements that you have recommended. This was a great video. Thank you.

The biggest reason I never started was lifestyle. We do a ton of camping and go on road trips frequently so we go for extended periods without access to refrigeration. Anymore I don't even bring meat for my own meals on trips like that, it quickly becomes a food handling nightmare. (But I am happy to tell you what I ended up feeding the dog under those circumstances and he did better than ok on it.)

Great info! Love the channel and content. Dogs look amazing!

I think your price for Orijen is for the bundle of 2 bags. I saw a price of roughly $106 for a 23 lb bag.

Hi, what food do you think is best for Cane Corso puppies? Thanks!

Im surprised you didnt put open farm and oven baked tradition in the high end kibble
Those are the two best in terms of quality in my opinion, open farm being number 1

Jason! I have watched nearly all your raw feeding videos. Plus other people's. I recently got my first Cane Corso 3 months ago when she was 4 months old. I have tried multiple times raw meat. She's not having it! She turns her nose up! I have tried multiples kinds of meat. Do I just stave her until she eats it? The only thing she enjoys raw is a variety of fruits and vegetables. So I am currently feeding her a half kibble half home cooked diet that includes meat + 10% of liver veggies and a small amount of lentils that she loves. I am giving her 2 supplements per my vet as well. I have let her go more than 32 hours and she still won't eat the dang raw meat!!! 😒

Not sure where these prices are coming from but the Orijen Original 23.5lb can be bought on autoship at Chewy for $85.99 or one time purchase of $105.00. That's over half of the price in this vid (he says a 23.5lbs bag is $212.00). Am I doing something wrong when looking this up?
