This is what the justifier should have been.

This set is almost perfect imo. The main thing holding it back for me is the lack of banner and hawkeye

The only complaint I have with this set is that you can't switch between avengers and shield. They didn't include the extra pieces to switch models. So you need to either destroy your stickers by removing them and never switch them back. Or just never switch them. Having the option was good, but the execution wasn't. They should have done what they did with the 2018 X wing. The included the extra stickers and pieces so that you can switch between red 3 and red 5.

Funny thing, the Hulk big fig not fitting would be accurate. In Avengers 1, we can see that the tallest characters have only a little bit of clearance above their heads, and then in Avengers 2 Hulk has to crouch very significantly to fit in the quinjet, and in Thor Ragnarock (I probably misspelled that) Hulk breaks the quinjet just by walking in it upright.

The cockpit is really amazing looking. Very glad LEGO gave two sticker sheets. They should be doing that for expensive sets anyways in case stickers fail. I like the idea of a stand. The set is okay prices, sure $90 be better but $100 isn't horrible. I feel like there should be one more figure, but LEGO stopped doing bigfigs recently. Overall looks really good, besides the wheel holes. Looks fun to play with and makes a nice display piece. Thanks for review.

The main problem with this model is the cockpit isn’t tilted down like it is in the movies.

I have mixed feelings. It looks great from afar, but up close it reminds me more of a MOC where the builder didn't have the necessary pieces and didn't want to make another Bricklink order or had to make the deadline. I think the 6869 Quinjet was more charming even though it was less refined.

This set paired with Lola from a few years ago would make for a pretty good Agents of Shield display

Really loving the heavy industrial vibes this thing has. Big and steel colored, caution stickers and rivets, the fuse boxes on the wings. Feels like it’s been a while since we’ve had a good, substantial marvel set like this.

I think the minifig selection is based on the "bring the hammer down" scene. Hawkeye was mind controlled at this point and Banner was still Banner.
That being said, a full team would make sense for the Avengers livery...

That face printing for Cap looks a lot like Buzz Lightyear…huh that’s weird 😉

This set depicts the scene in the first Avengers when Cap, Widow, Iron Man and (later) Thor go to Stuttgart Germany to apprehend Loki. The Hulk and Hawkeye were not involved in that.

I feel like some 1x4x2(?) panels would help fill in the wheel holes… I’m glad the set can be appreciated for more than just the figures, unlike most superhero sets recently. Thanks for the review, Jang!

A couple of modifications to swap the repulsor engines to mechanical fans and this is spot-on.

Lack of hulk doesn’t bug me as much as the lack of Hawkeye

What I liked with the first QJ set is that the cockpit was angled.

honestly I would prefer to exclude the stand and replace it with either more figures or a side build for an enemy, like loki's chariot. I think that most people have the parts and capability to build a simple stand, and if they don't, it's still perfectly displayable just sitting on the ground.

Unlike most people I'm not really bothered by the minifigs on this set but would love to turn that into a proper Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. lego set. With those printed arms from Black Widow and a few other parts it should be possible to at least made a Daisy minifig, I already have a Coulson I made years ago and of course it would need a Melinda May.

Also past quinjets have had the nose being adjustable, this one seems to be fixed, which is a shame.

As a die hard Agents of Shield fan, the Shield stickers just made this that much more tempting. If I get it I'm definitely making custom Quake and Coulson minifigs to go with it.

I'm kinda impressed by how accurate/realistic they managed to make this look for its size and price. I don't think I've seen a set that ever made so many MOC-like compromises just to deliver as good of a product as possible with the given budget. Normally 'flaws' like the landing gear holes, angled parts that aren't fully fixed in place or barebones interior would be critisized by me, but with how good this looks overall for its size I actually applaud the designer for taking those 'shortcuts' this time. As long as you cover the big gaps I wouldn't think of this as only a 100 dollar set and I'm very impressed.
