My wife and I took delivery of our Z4 M40i in March last year, and it has been a pleasure to drive long distances, while always putting a smile on my face when I just want to blast around locally and forget about my day. Just bought a 2024 Z4 M40i and love it…wow! I was going to buy a C8 Corvette as my dream car, but as a 58 year old man this car was simply more “me.” I cannot say enough good things about this car as it makes me want to simply go out for a drive!

When I picked up my M40i it looked much wider in real life. Like many, I’ve had other cars, vette, porche, mustang, etc.. they all had something lacking, … this car is one that does everything very well and the attention it gets is crazy. It is stupid fast.car and driver got 0-60 3.5 seconds, that’s insane time. I thought it would be more popular than it is.

Great Review! This current Z4 is such an underrated and rare car! It is so beautiful and it handles soo well! The only thing it needed was more power from that 3.0 I6. Now with more power, it is a perfect convertible that doubles as a sports car!

After having one for 2 years now…still loving it, especially after the power upgrade (400hp, 600nm) although not the acs (10% of that price I guess and (still) no problems at all). Great review!

My M135i behaves similar...over a twisty up grade in Sothern California - the popular Ortega Highway - i just left it in 5th, slowing to 30 minimum in the turns and accelerating out to 80-90, only to just let the engine slow me for the next turn, no brakes. I was in BMW Heaven!

Z4s are superb pieces of kit, Joe! Love your review which is very interesting because my wife drives a 2.0 Msport Pro, in black, like yours, black grill, wheels etc., which she loves driving. It is well put together, comfortable, and even with the 2.0 motor, very lively (just a second slower 0 to 62 than my 530d Touring Msport). I get to drive the Z4 a bit, and love it. It has adaptive suspension and as you say, feels very fluid on the road, even though the suspension is different to yours.

Always love your videos, Joe, and hope you enjoy the Z4 over the weeks you have it. Great tribute to Dave to let the Z4 out and about in his memory.

Thé Z4 M40i is probably one of the most underrated cars these days. Even stock, it’s a fantastic car. This schnitzer package looks awesome ! Congrats for the videos and hope to see another one with the car, and your impressions after a while with it.

I am seriously considering this car - for the second time now that there is more clarity on availability. For me it is the best looking 2 seater drop top on the road for the money. The combination of the straight six engine with the roadster set up is so attractive. I will be making a decision this week and your video has dealt with a lot of my doubts - thanks !
