To make it more flattering and so your lips don’t look smaller, in Korea they actually extend the color further out.
A recent trend are also lip pencils that are similar to your lip shade but more pinkish, so you have a better and more precise outline.
I’m of course aware that you are showing how to do this for your skin tone, so things will look different, but I think at least extending the color out a bit more could keep your beautiful lip shape❤

This looks really gorgeous, but it’s a somewhat outdated way of doing Korean jelly style lips. These were more popular in the 2010s. Currently, the jelly lip trend involves a blown out, diffused lip look, with emphasis on creating volume in the center. It’s the most common style with female kpop idols, and a popular style to copy is Jang Wonyoung’s. Super super gorgeous.

Kpop groups were doing this trend in 2012. An easier way to do this is to put foundation on your lips when you do your face. Put lipstick/gloss in the middle and work it to the outside. Its supposed to fade out not just cut off in the middle of the lips.

I love this trend. This was the only way I did my lipstick for long!😂 You should try some more East Asian beauty trends, like douyin makeup, dolly eyes, drunk blush etc. If you look up all of those makeup trends, it’s mainly done on super pale girls. I would love to see how you do it, and I think that it would look so so cute!❤️

Finally!!! People doing these lip trends that don't have pale lips. I literally cannot use coloured lip products because my upper lip is literally black and the lower one is pink so it's really hard for products to show up on both. 😂

Love this! I’ve also found that a lot of Korean lip colors tend to run very orangey/warm for my taste as I have more of a cool/neutral undertone, so finding ways to finesse the trends really helps.
