Your label is bang on, first sounds like SHM which isn’t a bad thing but the new vocal sounds fresher, brighter and wider. I would have felt a bit gutted if I’d wrote the first and had that feedback but they were absolutely bang on.

That's exactly the problem of the music industry of today. Artists are forced to fit themselves in the labels mold. That's why everything sound the same.

How much do you typically pay for vocals? Lets say if i have a text and a instrumental and want them to sing on it? whats the average price for a decent sniger? Or do they typically write the text themselves too?

Ein paar Anregungen:
1. Limited Edition Vinyl. Biete Deinen Fans mal an, daß Sie eine EP von Dir mit 2-4 Songs auf Vinyl kaufen können. Kleinstauflagen sind möglich. Da gibt es spezielle Anbieter. Natürlich sind die Kosten pro Stück hoch, wenn man nur wenige Exemplare presst, aber als ein Angebot an Fans, wäre das evtl. etwas.
2. 3lau hat NFTs versteigert, die den Besitzern nicht nur Zugriff auf sein aktuelles Album gewähren, sondern auch als digitale Backstage-Pässe für alle zukünftigen Auftritte dienen. Finanziell hat es sich für ihn definitiv gelohnt.
3. Es ist ehrenwert, daß Du nichts geschenkt haben willst. Allerdings produzierst Du nicht nur Musik. Auch Dein VLOG ist Produkt Deiner Arbeit und hat ja nicht gerade wenige Zuseher. Auch das hat Wert. Wenn Du Deinen Zusehern über Patreon die Möglichkeit geben würdest, sich finanziell für den VLOG zu bedanken, wären das keine Almosen. Der VLOG produziert sich schließlich nicht von selbst. Als perks kannst Du zB. einen Diskord Server einrichten, wo Du hin und wieder mal rein schaust zum Chatten.
4. Ich weiß nicht, ob Du Deinen Studio-Bau per Video dokumentiert hast. Das wäre gut gewesen, weil Du einen Video-Kurs zum DIY-Studio-Bau anbieten könntest. Wenn Du das Video-Material nicht schon vorbereitet hast, wäre das natürlich jetzt nicht mehr ganz so einfach, vielleicht aber trotzdem machbar. Es gibt Plattformen wie Udemy, wo man so etwas anbieten kannst.

When you practice drums, try counting “1-and-2-and-3-and-4-and”. It will be way better when you play 8ths on the hihat. Also with the fills, try out 2 bar measures where you play the fill on f.ex. the 3 in the last bar. This way you can sort of “prepare” for the fill 😁 Super cool that you are starting to play drums, Jon!
