We Built a $130 Gaming PC in 2022

After testing the Quadro K620 in a strange gaming PC from eBay we decided to see how it performs inside a trusty Optiplex. The K620 Quadro performs similar to the GT1030 but for about half the price. Let's make a budget rig and test it in games!

I put together a $165 pc in part inspired by you guys. Refurbished HP Prodesk 600 G3 Sff and R7 450 4gb. I-5 6500, 16g ddr4 ram, 500gb ssd and a windows key. It's living in my bedroom connected to the tv, and can stream Steam games no problem from my main gaming pc as well as lightweight gaming. Keep on spreading the word about budget gaming

2:43 I have this card in an OptiPlex with this same case, didn't have the small bracket, all I had to do was bend the extra metal bit off and it works perfect.

I got a dell optiplex 7050 it was 147$ on Amazon. it has 16GB of ddr4 ram it has a 6th gen i5 6500 CPU and ah Radeon RX 550 GPU 2GBs of GDDR5 it has a 256GB ssd all around its ah 200$ gaming and streaming setup it does pretty good. 60fps solid.

Exact combo I have setup as a media PC. I've got a lot more RAM jammed in but only because it was sitting around lol. Great little box

My father works as an IT manager at his company. They just recycle the old pcs. He informed me that they had some desktops they are getting rid of. I was it was going to be an older OptiPlex and I wanted to try to put together a little gaming/emulation machine. He gives me one. It's a 9th gen Intel 9700 OptiPlex sff from 2019. I threw a RX 6400 in there, The slightly higher wattage power supply and a 1tb SSD. works like a champ. Best thing is the operating system is on a 256gb NVME drive. So, it's actually pretty damn fast. Doesn't beat out my Custom-built pc but is definitely faster than most cheap OptiPlex builds. I think I spent a total of $200 on it. maybe a little less. I did add an 80mm fan to the front, and recently upgraded the CPU fan. That was a pain in the ass that involved cutting screws down. Not bad though for something that I got for free.

I got the dell optiplex 7020 a while ago (i5 4590 8gb ram) and just got a monitor, keyboard and mouse. Im just getting into gaming but im also on a tight budget. I am going to get the k620, hdd and a cable and i will finally be able to play on my pc!

Okay, so soon im going into college, in the IT major, only going with the mandatory dual core Thinkpad. My passion for emulation and video editing tho, needs to be fulfilled so i thought to build a PC. A not "Tower-ish" PC. Just a PC that offers me good fun, compact in size and cheap. Looking at this, this is just an Ultimate Potential of what i've been wanting for this long. Maybe because of this video i rethink of spending bigger budget and stick to my thinkpad and build this instead. The quadro k620 is essentially the 'pro' version of the OEM GTX 745. It has a DP rather than a HDMI on the 745. K620 has 2gb and the 745 can have 2gb or 4gb. But the 745 can't use all the 4gb as the card is on the light side.

I recently got a 5050 sff. Upgraded cpu to 7600k. More ddr3 2400mhz ram so now 24gb. Getting this card soon, i thought the gt1030 was the way to go but for like 200$ i will get the quatro instead
