A lesson to discover one of the frontier research lines of modern physics, from international laboratories to cosmic "laboratories". The event is organized on the occasion of the conference "4th Workshop on Anti-Matter, Hyper-Matter and Exotica Production at the LHC" taking place at the DIFA of the University of Bologna from 13 to 17 February 2023. The lesson will be held in English.

Prof. Jürgen Schaffner-Bielich (University of Frankfurt, Germany)
is a theoretical physicist and lecturer in astrophysics, cosmology and heavy-ion physics.
His research focuses on the equation of state for neutron star mergers and
the properties of twin stars, compact stars with a phase transition in their core.
