(What if ...) Knight Rider Intro feat. Harry Thumann's 'Sphinx'

In 1982 german musician Harry Thumann released his song "Sphinx".

According to various sources on the web Glen A. Larson and Stu Phillips have drawn inspiration from this song for the Knight Rider theme.

It's hard to neglect the similarities between the two songs.

Let's check out, what the Knight Rider intro may have been if they actually used Thumann's theme for the series.

There's no denying the similarities between the two.. At the opening desert scene where KITT speeds toward the camera, that single bass guitar piece seems to make the intro a little darker ( to me) and as much as I LOVE the original tune, I actually like this! EDIT: I've also subbed to your awesome channel, Hello from Australia!!
