I used to believe this ..
But after years of struggle I see now..
Not always, so many things in life are unpredictable and out of our control..
You can get sick in a blink of an eye and all your life fall apart, or lose a loved one or face injustice that is impossible to heal from, you just learn how to carry it along..

You can choose how to react but many times you can't change your fate .. we are the reaction not the action.. we are no masters in a lot of situations.

It saddens me that many people will hear this and not know the incredible poem “Invictus” by William Ernest Henry, that he’s gotten this idea from. A fantastic work of literary art, well worth a read. Kudos to him for knowing it though 👍
