I've just found these lectures and I'm really enjoying brushing up on my cosmology knowledge. I did want to mention that Cambridge University Library possesses Newton's personal 1st edition copy of Principia Mathematica. It's a joy to view, seeing modifications in his own handwriting gives it life.

Thank you for all the intriguing lectures... i do wonder however... how was he able to calculate the value of G?

It sewms that it would be quite a task considering that measuring the masses of the planets and the distances would be really difficult at that time.
