NASA Find Liquid Water on Mars!

Many people dream of traveling through space and perhaps even encountering extraterrestrial life. Evidence for higher life forms is lacking, although single-celled organisms are conceivable. Fungi, bacteria, and viruses have taken up residence on the international space station, the ISS, and are getting along frighteningly well. But microbes follow humans—not the other way around.

At 7mins in the video says Mars cannot hold surface water… and never provides any suggestion that nasa discovered surface water…. Exactly the opposite of the title… go figure

I've got a question, if liquid water could exist on mars surface, what would its movement/flowing water look like in Mars? Our gravity and density and atmosphere changes how water reacts on our surface.

"Do the stars hold water?" No a star does not. The planets around them most likely do.

I read the comment first before watching the video, it saved 11.09 minutes of my life as obviously the title is a clickbait and no new discovery..thank you for those who comments.

I find it funny how you said NASA *FIND* liquid water, that way when you get people saying it's click bait you can just say you weren't saying NASA *finds* water, you were directing them to *find* it. It wasn't a typo, that was on purpose.

Where you come up with venus has so thin atmosphere that it can't hold water 7:05 venus atmosphere is waythicker than earths. People would weigh die from its atmospheric pressure alone.Although Venus and Earth are similar in size, someone standing on the ground on Venus would experience air about 90 times heavier than Earth's atmosphere.

I think that the water on Mars receded into the ground as the core of the planet cooled. The reason we have water on the surface of earth has more to do with our core boiling any water out into the cooler outer layers, and stays there because of the heat. Mars's atmosphere was most likely much thicker when the core was hot too, and would have been much less likely to have the oceans blown away by the solar winds. When the core was molten Mars would have also had a magnetic field protecting its atmosphere, and oceans. As the core cooled the water would have seeped deeper and deeper into the planet. As the planet cooled the outer layers could only shrink so much alowing the core to become more porous, and absorb Hugh amounts of water. So in my humble opinion, Yes there is water in Mars.

So to ask a simple Since Mars is atmospheric CO2 can we easily grow plants there?

I don't care if it is a clickbait or not. I will still watch it to fall asleep 😂
