I'm 72 and grew up eating ghoulish at home. Mom or sometimes dad would whipped a batch of it and we would have that for dinner for 3 or days. Easy peezy and I still love it today. Always tasted better as a left over :-):-)

Exactly almost how I make goulash and have for over 40 years. Only difference was the tomato soup so I tried your idea and added that and omg takes it up to a new level of goodness. Thank you.

My Dad used to make this when I was a kid and I made it for my family. A great satisfying meal that doesn't break the bank and you usually have lots of leftovers which are of course even tastier the next day.

I grew up in Texas and my mom made "American Goulash" often. I loved it. I still make very it similar to what you do. I add corn, green chilis, and Rotel tomatoes. Instead of broth I use V8 juice, really adds some good flavor. Next time I will add some tomato paste and tomato soup like you did as that sounds really good. Thanks for the new ideas.

71 in SE Pennsylvania, beautiful fall day, bright and sunny. Happen to buy some ground beef today. Have the rest of the ingredients in cupboard. I haven’t cooked much this summer, but I’m ready for some hardy one pot meals. I’m a fall baby so this is my time of year 😋

I call it Saturday Special because it seemed we always v had it on that day while I was growing up! Mom served it with a slice of bread and butter. Yummy! I'm 76 still make it and now my daughter makes it for her family too. We all love it no matter what it's called. Even better the next day!

I made this for dinner tonight, so easy and love the one pan. Even my picky eater liked it and had seconds. I went exactly by your recipe and I wouldn't change a thing. Thank you. Delicious.

interesting recipe, it really reminds me of chili I used to have as a kid, my mom would make, only difference she would add diced raw onions that soaked in water for about 20 minutes and drained then added to the almost same recipe. Good job bringing back great memories, that's what I love so much about cooking and watching others creating their recipes, all the good memory times in the kitchens used to be.

I'm from Montana and we just called it goulash (minus the bell peppers). We would have it every week when I was growing up. Love it!
