25 Times The Simpsons recreated a famous movie scene

Nothing quite compares to The Simpsons at its peak. Hilarious, crazy, satirical and heartwarming, the show has been a main staple in pop culture for decades and doesn’t seem to be going anywhere just yet- especially with all season being readily available on Disney+. But part of the reason The Simpsons have been so relevant in pop culture, is down to the fact they are so in tune with it, constantly having their three fingers on the pulse and endlessly parodying and referencing it. This usually comes in movie form, with the show making constant nods and call backs to some of the greatest and most iconic movies of all time.

In this video we will take a look at 25 of the very best film references to take place in the show and how perfect they were. From parallels with some of the best rated movies of all time, shot for shot remake of iconic sequences, to hilarious nods to classic movie auteurs- The Simpsons have done it all and we are going to take a look at the cream of the crop.

And there you have it. What did you make of this list? Which were your favorites? Which are your favorite ones we left out? Let us know in the comments below and make sure to subscribe to the channel today for all this and more.

The bar over the "A" on the knuckle tattoo changes the sound to a long a so it's still pronounced the same as hate. A pretty clever work around for the missing digit issue.

All the President's Men: The episode in question is "Sideshow Bob Roberts" not "Krusty gets busted".

At 8:43, Principal Skinner bends over Bart in much the same way Morpheus did to Neo in the "you think that's air you're breathing?" scene in the Matrix.

The Simpsons TV show is nothing but Hans Moleman's Groundhog Day show, as Hans is the only one in the show confirmed to be immortal. 🤣

Bart the soldier may have full metal jacket references... but the shot you used is a Patton reference. "It's my nerves sir. I just can't stand the shelling, " i mea, "barking anymore." "Your nerves?" Slap....
