I can't believe I'm just now learning this. I'm a Mac user for less than a year (Windows 30 years). There's so many things that are just intuitive with windows. One being, when you open a photo within a folder, you automatically have a slide show. Arrow buttons on each side. With Mac, everything seems to be a key command. I recommend to friends, if you have a good memory (I don't) go with Mac, if you don't, stick with Windows. Thank you! This has been a pain in my a** for months...

A slideshow is AUTOMATED! It just plays by itself, in sequence. Not manually pushing buttons (although that's a useful control ). But this isn't a slideshow.

Didnt work for me the first time. Then realised, the key is to not click but keep the first image selected and hit spacebar. then it works like a charm!

Why apple do such a weird things with simple things, man would never think of it, that he has to click on the photo and than to press the spacebar 😀
