PS Events: Grassroots Globalization

Long before the pandemic had exposed deep structural weaknesses in the twenty-first century global economy, many observers had come to question the prevailing one-size-fits-all approach to multilateral governance and economic development. How can international organizations and legal/economic frameworks be reformed or complemented to accommodate countries at all levels of development, and to ensure that more people and communities can participate in the global economy and multilateral initiatives on their own terms?
