lady gaga... i'm not mad, i'm just disappointed.

Lady Gaga is one of those rare people who managed to create huge success, fame and fortune for herself all WITHOUT looking like a Kardashian clone or bratz doll. Until now. Is it just me or is everyone morphing into the same person? Lady Gaga used to be so unique, so quirky, and I think that's part of the reason so many people adored her. But now, unfortunately it seems as though she may be going down the same tweakment route as so many have, in turn, erasing her natural features and unique identity. BUT. Is it for vanity? Or is it for health reasons? Lets chat about it!

My face looks a lot like Lady Gaga's face and people tell me they think I'm ugly all the time. I never understood why people hate this type of facial features so much but I honestly never cared that others think I'm ugly. I have always felt beautiful and that is all that matters to me. I love the way I look and if other people don't that is their problem because I am never gonna change my beloved features!😊

This one is is soooo tough bc I’ve loved her since like 2009 and tried to be like, “aw it’s fine it’s just subtle changes etc” but JESUS when you put the photo of Kim K next to her I was SHOCKED at how similar they actually look!! 😳

as a young girl with a strong nose, i always loved how gaga wasn’t ashamed to be sexual while not adhering to the incredibly narrow view of beauty we have. like yes she doesn’t look like every other celeb, and yes she’s sexy and talented as hell. i’m sad to see that the world caught up with her. i hope she finds peace with herself

A “friend of mine” recently told me that I look very average and carried on showing me pictures of herself proving a point of how good looking she is.
Now I know that I may not be model-like but I do know that I’ve always liked the way I look.
Judgement can be so easily passed on and insecurities created in a split of a second.

I watched a couple of late 80's movies recently and even the most beautiful women in those films were STUNNING and looked nothing like actors do now. Their teeth were natural and addes character to their faces. Even the mature women donned their natural gray hair and wrinkles and still looked amazing. It's so disappointing that standards have people feeling like this is the new normal and that natural beauty is a thing of the past.😢

THIS!!! Her natural features were so beautiful. She didn't look like a little barbie with a button pixie nose. She had thick dark hair. A strong nose. Big brown/green eyes. She was unique!! I miss it so much.

She’s been struggling with being told she’s the “not so pretty girl” her whole life. No wonder, now that she is a big star, she falls victim to conventions. it’s not so easy as it seems to resist the pressure. Especially now when her image is not so much about hiding behind big sunglasses, masks and heavily stylised outfits any more. She also fronts her makeup line, which puts even more focus on her face. She’s just human, let her be. 🤷🏼‍♀️
