It's crazy how in blind test they keep prefering Samsung photos but then they keep callibg the iPhone "the best and more consistant phone camera in the world".

So, I think a lot of kudos needs to go to Snapdragon for what they did with the ISP in the new chipset. IMHO if Samsung can optimize a bit more and work through their shutter issue, they will absolutely crush Apple down the line.

As a user of s22u, I was surprised of how good zfold4 did all these photos. It was really good! I have an iphone 11 pro too, but I dont want to upgrade yet until apple gives type c port charger for iphone. I'm still good with the old 11 pro. Thanks for this comparison challenge guys! 👍

I believe if Samsung fixes the HDR (which I think they did with this week's update), it'd smash even more.
Other than that, I think Fold4 is doing much better job than I would've expected from a significantly worse camera system than S22 or iPhone, I'm really surprised.

I was surprised at how well the fold 4 did. I was not expecting that at all. I'm curious to see how the iphone 14 will do in comparison once it is out! You guys should do a comparison between the s22 ultra after its camera update and the iphone 14. Great video!

Actually the fold 4 has improved software processing that the s22U doesn't have right now, but its getting it in another august update or september, so thats awesome!

I would like to see a video like this, comparing each phones raw photos. After going through the editing processing. So you can see how good the dynamic ranges are ext. I know most ppl don’t use their phones raw photos. But if you want the “best” photos. Shooting raw and editing is the best way.

I’ve shot a lot with the IPhone and have to say it seemed to do extra bad in a lot of those photos. Honestly seemed off to me. A lot of blow out in the sky that I don’t usually see I was wondering if some setting were off. But Z fold did far better than I expected. Very impressive!

Genuine question: Do you still have all the photos from your previous testing of the iPhone 13 Pro Max? I ask as these most recent photos in this video appear to be dreadful, and much worse than your older tests. I'm wondering if recent software updates have affected performance. I would love a comparrison of current to older photos from the iPhone.

Really surprised with the improvements the Z Fold has made this year. Looking forward to the Fold 5 which I will most likely upgrade to from my Z Fold 2.

Fold (14), s22 ultra (13), iphone (8). The fold 4 started with a bang for me, winning multiple comparisons back to back. The s22 slowly clawed back some ground with its zoom ability and as the shots got darker. The iPhone was a consistent miss with its color reproduction ironically. However, that same color was able to win out in dark landscape settings.
