for anyone wondering, here is joey's animal list (in chronological order):
- Wolf (male husky, rescued from craigslist (?) as puppy)
- Storm (male husky, white, adopted from a rescue as puppy, lives w Daniel)
- Lark (female husky/german shepherd mix, adopted from a rescue as puppy (?), lives w Daniel's mother)
- Lark had babies (accident at doggy daycare)! seven of them (Red, Teal, Lavender, Pink, Yellow, Green, Blue)
- Moon (male husky, kept one of lark's babies-Teal)
- Shadow (male husky, J&D tried to keep Lark's baby Red, but Moon & Shadow struggled with littermate syndrome so Shadow was rehomed like the others)
- Sakura (black female pregnant rescue cat) (kept her)
- Sakura's kittens, the zodiac litter (Gemini, Taurus, Aquarius, Aries, Leo, Sagittarius)
- Azula (female foster cat, was pregnant but lost the litter)
- Hen (foster mama from junkyard)
- junkyard pups (Duck, Goose, Shark, Otter, Bear, Moose)
- foster mama dog Roo
- Roo's litter (Hare, Tiger, Bison, Panda, Raccoon, Monkey)
- Daenerys (white foster mama kitty)
- D's kitties, the Greek Goddess litter (Athena, Persephone, Aphrodite, Nemesis, Rhea)
- took care (for a couple of days) of a mama duck and her 9 babies that wandered into his backyard and got stuck
- May (foster mama husky)
- May's babies, the Months litter (January, February, March, April, June, July, August, September, October, November, December)
- Coco (husky foster mama pt2, false pregnancy, surrogate to Disney pups)
- husky babies abandoned in box (Disney litter--Copper, Pluto, Bolt, Scar, Bruno, Darla)
- Daisy (husky foster mama pt3)
- Daisy's babies (flower/tree litter; Goldie, Lilly, and Daphne didn't make it; Ash, Cyprus, Oren)
- Lacey/Onyx (black & white foster kitty mamma)
- Lacey/Onyx's kittens, gem litter (Opal, Pearl, Peridot, Flint, Mica, Jasper)
- 4 blind Frenchies (Mike Wazowski, Baby Jack-Jack, Linguini, Lea Michele)

*Montana/Monty (female golden retriever) is often in videos; she is Daniel's (Joey's ex) dog, but often comes to Joey doggy daycare
*the babies are usually adopted by other people (other than Moon) and then renamed! some of them have instagrams and have shared their new names/stories, but I'm not including those here
*I first created this list a long time ago and add to it every time Joey takes in a new animal...because I have it saved I just copy/paste it onto every (I try, but it's more like "most") animal-related video he posts, so no, it actually doesn't take a lot of my time or effort. I just like lists. Thank you to everyone who is giving thanks about the amount of effort though haha!

As much as we’ll miss them, I’m so incredibly glad all the puppies have been adopted! It was also so lovely to see Molly Burke with Elton John around taco-dressed Wolfie at the Halloween event! 🐶🐶😻❤️

I love that you and Daniel have split custody of the pups. It’s so sad when you grow to love an animal, and can’t see them again. But it really makes me happy that you guys can still be friends, share the pups, and just live your lives. THAT is how you handle crappy situations. You guys are so great, and I’m also so happy that you are able to help so many animals, and share all that love with them. One day I want to have a giant animal sanctuary like Gentle Barn or Farm Sanctuary, and just take any dog/cat/animal that isn’t wanted

I know you are sad to see them go, but I want to say congratulations, Joey! You have done it yet again-you are an amazing foster/pet dad, a true dog and cat whisperer. I love you Ro, I know you have a special place in your heart for Frenchies and after the death of Cookie I think and hope her spirit is in one of these puppies and it was meant for you to meet them.
I lost my lab in 2018 and now I have a lil Shih Tzu my little fluffball Maggy and I love both of them so much and I know how much it hurts to lose someone you love. Heck, when I went for holiday I almost didn't because I had to pay someone to look after Maggy and I just want her to come see the world with me. It's so sad most airlines don't let you have your dog on board particularly smaller ones that'll just sit in your lap for the journey but I understand. I wouldn't want to put her in the hold luggage she's not luggage and shouldn't be treated as much she's an alive being and I think she would be scared to go with turbulence in a dark and cold cargo/hold where luggage may stumble, I don't want to imagine so I wish more airlines or even someone came with airlines for pet owners. I think that would be a great idea. There is so long they're on this Earth with you, and you feel part of you is missing every time you have to leave them for a week or more and when they're gone forever you feel so sad and guilty that you didn't spend enough time with them or I don't know but I know that it is hard and I'm preparing for this going on a business/family trip next month and it's a while away but I can already feel the guilt and knowing that I won't be back for a while as I usually look after her day after day, take her on walks, give her food, fresh water, wash, dry and brush her, give her comfy blankets after she lays on her bed next to mine as it's colder now and she loves it and sleeping beside me and I give her a treat each night before bed or if I go downstairs for a snack if I can give her if dog friendly I give part of it and I'm going to miss that as before when I went away I'd have to remind myself she wasn't there after I called her to share some part of my snack or food and it made me sad. To know she is not going to be here forever, I know that, we all know as humans even us won't be here forever but I know I have to go to hopefully make better life for us and so I can give myself my family and Maggy a better life and help them. I love dogs, all pets but dogs and puppies specially, Maggy was there for me in my worst times and best times as well as Rex my labrador and I just want them to see the world with me and share the fun and calm experiences like watching sunrise, going to the beach and smelling the great foods we have back home, but anyway. Guess it's just life :(

Delen it is sad after you have grown your love for the animal i agree very much. You see only superficially the feelings but internally the feelins in his heart which is shedding tears.
